Hi list, I just thought you might be interested in this 3D engine which itself uses 3D audio and is scripted with java, a not too hard scripting language.
http://unity3d.com/ I know its weird to think that a blind user can create games using a 3D engine, but if you know euler geometry, some programming skills and are good at imagining your environment, this program has all the accessibility to start coding straight away. All you will require is a predefined box as a prefab object which you can use, transform, rotate and scale to your liking, mentally make up your homespace, and add sound clips and events. It works with all the iphone inputs, and you can customize the general scripts included in the package. One missing element though, is to plug voice over compatible labels on the game objects, which itself will require a few lines of objective C for the function call on touch events. If anyone is interested in figuring this out, let me know as i have been looking into this for the past 9 months or so, and i finally find a very interesting template from which to make this concept a reality. Have a good read. Best Yuma Decaux Light has no value without darkness Skype: shainobi1 blog: www.theblindsamurai.com twitter: www.twitter.com/triple7 Tel: +85513623378
