nope! manual setup is straightforward and easy to do. all you need to do is create the service in the networking applet in system preferences. They even have directions on their site under support on how to do this. Now, it will take a bit longer if you want to do more than a few of these, but you will have access to each one in turn. Only proviso: if you lose connectivity, your system will revert to using the standard connection with any apps need it. Sure, the system will notify you, but it won't stop those apps unless you can code an apple script that detects the notification and stops or kills the affected apps.
