I use it here. I haven’t bothered with their app (it wasn’t VO accessible on my old lion system). Now that I have a far newer Mac mini, I might just try out the app itself and see what goes with it.
Otherwise, setting up the VPN manually in the system preferences is fairly easy and straightforward.
