Hi, Considering that dictation has been around in the MacOS for as long as it has, I can't see that it's as glitchy as stated. A couple things to consider is the speed of your Internet connection, whether Enhanced Dictation is enabled or not, the amount of memory in your Mac, whether you have a spinner HD or an SSD, how many apps you have running concurrently, and how often you use it. There could be some other factors as well. I suggest that you enable Enhanced Dictation for sure. Refer to this Apple Support article for other information.
