Hi, I managed to get a bootable thumb drive created or so I thought. I tried to boot from the installer and got nothing. In the long run since I really didn’t have anything on my machine I could not loose I just installed directly on the main drive first as an upgrade then from the recovery partition I installed clean and now all works as it should. I am wondering one thing that I don’t think has anything to do with the beta, but is strange none the less. I was trying to set up my gmail account as a pop3 account and for some reason I was not given the choice to select what type of connection I wanted. I thought that was strange as pop3 is enabled on my account but oh well I guess it doesn’t’t matter since all I had to do was check the box in each account in system preferences and all was good to go. Other than that the upgrade was nice and smooth.
