Hello Everyone,

A list member, Christopher, received a bogus iPhone text message attempting
to acquire his personal credentials.

He requested that I forward his experience along to the list by sharing his
words which you will find below my signature.

A special thanks to Christopher for bringing this to our attention.

Mark

Original Message:

Good morning.

Have you received a text message from ``reminder` informing you your iPhone
ID is due to expire today, with instructions on what to do. If so, don't,
and I mean don't, do it. It is a scam, and the link will be suspicious
looking. Again, don't do it, and instead delete. Since it is not an
iMessage, you cannot report this directly to Apple.

Thank you for reading. And yes, please share this post if you feel you need
to. This is a genuine post, as I've had this very text message. Again, thank
you for reading.
