Hi list, I don't know if this has been offered up as a solution already, but I had another two instances of VO crashing in column view tonight whilst i was selecting a number of non-contiguous items. I am now using list view (Command + 2), and the problem seems to have disappeared - at least for the moment. This got me thinking about why this might be happening, and perhaps someone could clarify my thought.
Voice Over is supposed to represent the same information to us as sighted users get. So I was wondering, does the screen move down when selecting multiple items in column view? I mean if you select one item at the top of a list of files and then one at the bottom, does the screen view change as you moved down the list or not? If it does not, perhaps VO crashes because it cannot see what is being selected and so cannot provide the info because a sighted user would not know what was being chosen.
