Hello,

Generally QuickBooks is not considered CRM in my view. It is more of an
accounting suite.

The difference being that CRM are designed to keep track of who is interested
in what and figuring out ways to increase sales.

A accounting package is focused more on making sure you properly track income
and expense and tax liability. Some accounting packages also maintain inventory
controls.

QuickBooks does have a accessibility officer who is fairly active on the social
media and at NFB/ACB meetings. They have also teamed up with AIRA to help small
businesses like yours where the owner is blind to provide free guided service
as needed. I don’t know the specifics, but it was discussed at this years NFB
meeting.

A competitor of QuickBooks, Account Edge was not very accessible when I tried
it 4 years ago, but I have not tried recently. Also, QuickBooks has an online
version that try to use web accessibility standards, so that might be a first
place to look.

Generally these companies will give you a free trial of their software since
they expect a good return on license fees as long as your happy with them on
an ongoing basis.

Hopefully this message isn’t too rambling, I need to do my lunch errands and
then get back to work!
