Hi. The reason why Apple took Twitter and Facebook out of internet accounts is 
because both companies listed above have changed their API's. Now both 
companies want users to use their native apps and websites to post to your 
timeline. However Twitter is giving users some whiggle room in that we can 
still use 3rd party apps such as Night Owl or Twitterific to post tweets. So if 
you look at it, Apple's not to blame in this case. You may still be able to 
post statuses in High Sierra right now, but if those companies shut it down for 
that OS in the future, you will have to download a 3rd party app to do what you 
want. A lot of people in the blind community are moaning and complaining about 
the changes that Twitter has brought and have even sworn off of using it, but 
I'm beta testing Mojave and I have both Night Owl and Twitterific at my 
disposal so I will continue to use Twitter until more stuff gets shut down that 
I care about.
