Ok I've managed to get my mac stuck again and don't know how I did it. It doesn't automatically interact with anything like it shoud. I have to make sure I'm in the area I want and then interact with it which is rather annoying. I know there was a key combination to make it switch between this annoying mode and the correct way but I can't remember what it is. Hopefully this makes sense and someone can enlightened me.
Here's an example just in case. I've opened adium and instead of going through the list when i press down arrow like I'm normally able to do I first have to interact with the contact list.
