Hi Steve, I think you can purchase libraries to add to garageband but I am not entirely sure. Also, there is another software call Protools. It will cost money but it is will worth it as it is much more flexible for recording, including editing and multi-track project. I recommend that you do some research into garaggeband compatable libraries as well as Protools.
