It is in the dock. With most items in the Finder sidebar having
their own shortcuts, why bot Dropbox. A Google search seems to suggest
its possible to do this. I will look st it again in a but.

Does Dropbox actually have its own windowed environment with a window
that can be in the foreground and a menu to go along with it? I
thought it just sat in the menu extras area. I don't think one can
add menu shortcuts items for menu extras unless that is a feature of
the new OS.
I also checked to see if Dropbox is scriptable but it does not
provide a script library.
