Hi,

Do this in this order:

Unplug the drive from the USB port of the Airport device, unplug the power to 
the drive if it has a separate power, wait about 20 seconds or so, plug its 
power back in.  Now, unplug the Airport device from its power, and wait another 
20 seconds or so.  While you're waiting, plug the drive back into the USB port 
of the Airport device.  Turn the Airport device back on and wait while it sets 
things up.  After it has all restarted and reconnected, see if you have 
connectivity now.

So my question is if i can disconnect the harddrive and connect it to my mac 
and do  check that the filesystem is there?
