Hi all,
I just signed up for the 2-day free trial of sky.fm's premium service. Once
logged in, there is a link for my sky fm, and that page contains a link for
preferences. On this page, you are able to set your default player, type of
stream and bit rate. usingvo I can't find where to do these settings, unless my
sighted husband first clicks something. Then vo sees the choices and you can
change to whatever you want. Has anybody been able to deal with this aspect
without sighted help? Also, one of the media player choices is Itunes; they
recommend that for Mac users. So I selected it but I find that I can't make
anythingplayhen I open Itunes, I don't see anything magically added to the
sources table, that would enable me to initiate playback from that app. The
default playback app is an embedded flash player, which does work from within
the browser, but of course, VO does not see it, which means that none of the
controls, e.g. changing stations, is accessible. I had visions of seeing an
accessible list of stations in Itunes, since I did set up favorites at the
website. But no luck. Other experiences welcome. The stations do sound great,
but a little more convenience in managing which ones you play would be nice to
access.
