Hi, I find it easiest to work in the edit area using arrow and text navigation without the VO keys. So, interact with the edit area, then use up/down arrows to read line by line, use option-left/right to go word by word and just left/right to go letter by letter. Note, I'm not adding the VO keys to this combination. Know that if you're travelling right, the cursor will land at the end of whatever is spoken and vice-versa. You should be able to properly and efficiently edit messages this way.
