Hello, the page you put in your message e seemed to be a listing of webinars. On this page there were a couple things I didn’t like but it was fairly usable.
1. It only used Heading level 5 and heading lovel 6. It also seemed that the Headings might have spanned a bit too much content in that there were several links one right after the other that were reporting to the screen reder as being headings. A heading should be used to group content and the start of the primary content on the page should be at level1. If the style of a heading does not work visually that is the purpose of using CSS on the page. 2. The add to card buttons are actually links and there is no label for the graphic, or the label for the graphic is the name of the image file. I was surprised to see this as the pictures on the page appeared to be labeled with appropriate alt attribute. When I went through to the cart where you have to enter name and e-mail and other information I was a bit more disappointed. They played the form out using a table rather than a CSS grid, this is not a major issue, but shows web design practices from at least 6 years ago. But as suspected though there is text in the table row near the form field entries, that text does not have a label tag. If the web page designer adds <label for=“input_first_name”> around the first name text than the input field with the ID of input_first_name would speak when you tab to it. Also, I noticed that the page has tab index set on the form fields to a positive number. This is also generally frowned upon by the accessibility community because it requires more maintenance if one changes the links or input fields. I hope you found this summary useful, though since this is not really a Macintosh issue if you want further followup, please consider writing me directly at: [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> Best Wishes, Jonathan > On Nov 15, 2018, at 12:37 AM, Lorie McCloud <[email protected]> wrote: > > I'm interested to know what you think of this form. it's at: > http://www.paoweb.com/updates.htm <http://www.paoweb.com/updates.htm> > >> On Nov 14, 2018, at 9:36 PM, Jonathan C.
