Hi Jonathan. This happened to me also at the beginning of December over the weekend, and it was pretty frustrating when I couldn't dictate or type on my phone with the on screen keyboard. It was like my phone thought I was still connected to Bluetooth with my braille display even though the display was already turned off. Try switching Bluetooth off and then back on and see if that helps. If that doesn't work, try turning Bluetooth off and do a soft reset on your phone. When I had this problem, I eventually went to the Apple Store on Monday and they were able to reset my phone. None of my apps or data was erased and I did a back up beforehand just in case that might happen. The keyboard magically reappeared again after they turned off Bluetooth and reset it.
