Well, if you select a mailbox from the mailbox list and hit vo-shift-m to bring up the contextual menu there is a “export mailbox” option there. It even has a export all subfolders option. I have no idea what format is used, and when I clicked the options button I learned nothing. Then I expect you could use the import mailboxes item in the file folder to bring those messages to your new computer. Good Luck!
