They feel like the plug for the iPhone and iPads. So that’s the little lightening plug but the usb-C plugs are slightly larger and yes should be on the newest mac book computers.
On the mac book pro non touch bar they wil be on the left hand side to the left edge of the escape key. And on the touch bar models the USB-C ports are on both sides, Two ports on each side, But on the touch bar macbooks only 2 will let you charge.and I think that’s the ones on the left hand side from memory.
