Hi Jonathan,

Yeah thought of that but it would still show as having input volume controls
even though muted.

And with out the BT 600 bluetooth dongle the headset works fine via MacOS built
in Bluetooth
It’s looking like an issue between Mojave 10.14.2 and the BT adapter,

Output is fine it’s just input.

That one is strange, our office supplies the USB equivalent of that, I believe
it is a 560. I have never had any problem. Both Skype and Cisco soft phone will
use either default microphone or the USB Plantronics. I wonder, there are three
buttons on my plantronics and one of them is mute, any chance there is a
microphone mute functionality that you are hitting against?

                                Best wishes,

Jonathan Cohn

Hi Donna,

I'm interested in this one myself!

What type of headset or microphone are you using with your skype calls?

The reason I'm asking is I use for work a product called Cisco Jabre,
It's part of our new VOIP corporate phone system,

I'm the only one using the software on my Mac, all other staff are using a
cisco base unit with normal phone buttons, very non usable by those with no
sight.

Anyway I use a Plantronics Voyager 5200 bluetooth headset with UC adapter which
is the Plantronics BT600,

Now everything works fine without going audio through the BT600 USB Adapter
But the input device if set to the BT600 then all microphone volume is set to
Nothing, zero percent and under system prefs for mac os Mojave the input
options for the same device there are no input options

And under privacy cisco jabre is set to use the microphone.

I'm lost for any kind of answer.

Subject: Skype weirdness under Mojave?

Hi all,

I just tried to hold my first Skype call since upgrading to Mojave. The call
came in, I pressed answer with audio only. The person at the other end of the
line was there. We both kept saying hello. I could hear her, but she could
not hear me. Then, after she hung up, I couldn't get Skype to close, it was
almost like my Mac froze. Has anyone else experienced this? Any fixes?
Thanks,
Donna
