Hi, I wouldn't worry about it. VO has a tendency to announce all the layers of activities that gain focus as the Mac starts up or shuts down. The stuttering can especially happen if you try to do things while these activities are running. The sighted world would not even notice as the layers are invisible and only because we have VO announcing so much.
