hi, OK. Since it is the actual feel of the remote that is your concern, logistical help would be moot. I am not sure of the accessibility or usability of third party remotes as I only use the Siri one. As Jonathan mentioned, if you have an iPhone or iPad, you may wish to use the Apple TV Remote app that is free. At least this would allow you to test without any financial waste. There is also the option of using a Bluetooth keyboard. I use the Apple one and it works very well. You use regular VO commands and the VO rotor to navigate around the ATV screen. VO is not as robust as it is in iOS or MacOS, but it may help you with navigation. Again, third party Bluetooth keyboards may also work, I'm just not as sure of their complete functionality. Others may be more in the know in this regard.

I did put a rubber case on it which makes it less slippery but... I went on imore.com and they had some articles about alternative remotes. They recommended the Logitech Harmony one but it has a touchscreen. They also recommended a Harmony Companion remote that doesn't have a touchscreen. And last they recommended a remote you can get on amazon for $29 and its lalredy programmed for the apple tv. I'm just not sure how easy these remotes would be for a blind person.
