Yes, I understand this. However if the source document does not provide its own page numbers, then it is unlikely anyone will match that correctly. For example if your source is an electronic copy of a published work that normally has other identifiers, chapter, paragraph etc., you may get something that works. Still, because pdf files appear differently the page numbers are not likely to be consistent even without converting the file in my experience.

granted I did not see an example of your goal documents. still as you spoke
of research, my thought was that you were using existing documents from which
you were taking published information.
robobraille converts the contents of a pdf file into another format, say rtf
or text or html.
If your source document has no provided page numbers, then why does the exact
page number matter out of curiosity?
After all, pdf files appear differently in different readers meaning the page
numbers might vary from program to program.

Hi:

Thanks so much for this, however the page numbers are not written, we know them
just from the page itself.
so, willl the Robobraille will keep the same pagination?

Hi,
Not necessarily depending on the tool and document in question.
If you use the converting options provided by robobraille,
www.robobraille.org
which includes an e-mail conversion tool,
[email protected]
With your choosing the format you wish, then if the page numbers are actually
in the file, that information remains.
By which I mean, if your document has page numbers incorporated, those numbers
will still be there, at least using robobraille.
Just a thought,
Kare

No, but the issue here is that, i need to know the exact page number to insert
it in my Research, and if i will convert it to text, i will lose the correct
