Hello Mary, First of all, I am sorry that you are having this problem. I am an avid user of Voice Dream Reader on my iPhones and Kindle Fire.
In answer to your question, I had this problem once when I first set things up on my iPhone 6, but after re-entering the login information, the problem went away. I did not encounter this problem a couple months back when I was getting things set up on my iPhone XR. All that I can suggest is that you do what I did, ie. re-enter the login information.
