Hi Karen, Yes, VoiceStream Reader is able to read lots of formats and adds some extra voices and other controls. I haven't used it in a while, but as far as I recall, it's an excellent solution for VO users. Also, yes, reading in a Word Processor like TextEdit, Word or Pages would also do the job, just not as many specific reading features.
