The trash is always the suspect when space seems to be in short supply. If
CleanMyMac is not dumping trash then I would go look at it and find out why its
not doing it. I use the app al the time and ti never fails.

I really don’t know what i actually did but it seems that i got the missing
space back on my macintosh hd.
Today i had only 45 Gig left and now i have 453 gig left.
It seems that when i i opened the trash folder i found that it was not empty so
i emtying the trash and seem to have made the trick.
So i did this manually and not with the cleanmymac app which i have done this
with before.
Seems i can’t rely on that app much.
But i am really happy now to have all this space back.
