Interesting – thanks. I’ve used and definitely like Emacspeak under Linux. Running Emacs from a terminal with Emacspeak and with BRLTTY controlling the braille display is undoubtedly the best text editing experience that I’ve encountered on any platform.
BRLTTY for Mac used to be (presumably still is) limited in that it requires a patched version of GNU Screen in order to run – not to mention complicated to install and may not work these days.
