Hi, What sort of problems are you having? Usually, you interact with the Document area, then if the document is multiple pages, it will announce the page number that has focus. Interact with that page then use VO-down arrow to read through the document. It should automatically change to the next page as you go through it.
If when you interact with the Document area, VO just announces "blank" or something non-committal like that, then it is a scanned document and not readable by any screen reader unless OCR is performed. Preview does not have built in OCR capabilities, so you' would need to use some other service to OCR it, or purchase a pdf app with OCR functionality included. Later...
