Hi all, I use BlindSquare to help me determine where I’m going when I both go out for long walks and when I travel to different destinations. It really is a big help telling me where I’m at. I’m not sure what happened, but when I moved over to my new iPhone 7 and started using BlindSquare, the way it announced street addresses seems different to me. It used to be that if you had an address of, say, 12345 MyStreet Road, I would here each digit, individually, 1 2 3 4 5 MyStreet Road. Now I’m hearing “twelve thousand three hundred forty five MyStreet Road. I really want to be able to have individual digits announced. It looks as though there’s a way to control pronunciation in Mac OS, but I can’t for the life of me find a way to control this on iOS. And yet, I could swear I was able to have digits announced prior to 12.2. Am I crazy? I know it’s Friday and the end of a busy week, but had to ask! :-) Oh yeah, it could be that BlindSquare has made changes as well, so if anybody is using BlindSquare maybe they could chime in too?
