SOmeone had previously recommended you either direct iTunes to use the previous 
copy of the library or just copy the library from the previous iTunes library 
folder back into the top-level of the iTunes folder. Of course if you use Time 
Machine, you can always restore the previous library from there as well.
If all that fails, you can always reimport all of your music and if it is all 
tagged properly, you should end up with the same library you had before the 
upgrade.  One other suggestion, when launching any program, instead of pressing 
VO-spacebar on the item, use command-o.  This avoids the potential for the 
option key being trapped by the program, which is probably what happen.
