End it didn’t help. Something is wrong somewhere with a setting, I am convinced. But I can’t find it. And if I go to the T-Mobile store where I got the phone, I suspect they are not going to be helpful. I will keep trying. Well, I couldn’t be sure if I had actually turned my phone off, so I did that. And that doesn’t seem to have fixed anything. My phone also doesn’t ring. That is I can’t hear it ring. I tried calling myself from my landline. I have an old iPhone 7 Plus which is on Wi-Fi, so it rings. But my phone that actually has a Sim card and it does not ring, although it will say that such and so is calling if you are within your shot of the phone.
