I have found that their Web player is somewhat more accessible than the iOS app, though not ideal. It's available at play.primephonic.com. To support the lossless compression, it appears based on a review that you need to run Google Chrome. This combination works well on my Mac, however. So far, I've found the catalogue of available recordings to be very good.
I would suggest reporting the accessibility issues with both the iOS application and the Web player to their support staff. I reported the problems I found, and was informed that they would be added to the issues list. Despite some drawbacks, the Web player can be used quite effectively, and, as you note, the iOS app needs accessibility fixes, though some of the shortcomings can be worked around. I recently read about an app called prime phonic, and I just downloaded it and signed up for my free 14 day trial. You don’t have to give them a credit card for the 14 day trial, so if you tried and don’t like it, you don’t need to do anything. But if you want to keep it, then you have to subscribe within the 14 day trial time time limit. I just got it today, and I think there are some Accessibility issues having to do with whatever shows up on the opening screens, such that you can flip through and hear nothing from voiceover, but then flip back and hear what the text is. But the search and browse and tabs etc., those are all accessible. And they work well. If you are a classical music lover, you should really get this app and take it for a 14 day free trial. The subscriptions are eight dollars for the so-called premium subscription, which gives you 320 KBBPS which is the same as Apple I think. Or $14 a month for lossless streaming of albums that they have available with that format. If you are willing to pay for a whole year, you can get a 17% discount off of either service. I think it’s definitely worth checking into. I have not found a service like Spotify Apple Music etc., that is so dedicated for classical listeners. So if you were one of those, check it out.
