Hello Simon,

Thank you for the excellent, detailed feedback.

Oh well. That's too bad.

It's amazing how the Plantronics Voyager Edge switches between the two devices,
seamlessly while Apple can't get this right. And, by the way, my particular
model of the Edge is at least 4 years old using its original software.

I just don't understand Apple, at times.

Regardless, thank you for the feedback.

In The Journey,

Mark

Subject: RE: A Question to Anyone with the New AirPods 2, an Apple Watch Series
2 or Later and an iPhone

Hi Maark,

Sorry but not as good as apple said it would be.

I've had it switch once which happened somewhat as a mistake, and just trying
it now I could connect it to my phone as the primary device, and not switch to
my watch when playing with the watch also.

However when I connected the pods to my watch first they then automatically
switched to my phone without issue but then would not switch back to the watch,

So it's not at this point working the way they said it would.
I'm using the iPhone x with a beta of ios 12 Watch series 4 and pods series 2,

Possibly I'm not setting thigs up correctly from scratch I'll have to check
things again but it doesn't look like what you want is yet happening.

Cheers.

Subject: A Question to Anyone with the New AirPods 2, an Apple Watch Series 2
or Later and an iPhone

Hello All,

This question is addressed to all of you who own iPhone, along with the new
AirPods 2, and an Apple Watch Series 2 or later:

Unlike with the original AirPods, does VoiceOver audio switch seamlessly
between iPhone and Apple Watch with the new AirPods 2?

This is to say, when one touches the display of the watch, watch-VoiceOver is
heard and when one touches the display of the phone, iPhone-VoiceOver is heard?

I am interested in purchasing the new AirPods 2 but only if Apple's original
promise of automatic audio switching has been achieved.

All replies greatly appreciated and off the proverbial record. I realize that
the experience you report and my experience may differ.

Mark
