Yes, running VM would be nice but it's not part of my use cases for this machine. I will try it and see what happens. Will be reporting my findings here. What kind of files software did you have in mind for which you believe 256GB might not be sufficient? as for a case I have asked a friend - an Apple fanatic - to lend me a hand to pick a good one on Amazon. He's emailed me a couple of links. I actually wanted one with the Apple logo on it; tells you how much of a showoff I am I suppose. *grin*
