Hi,

I use Google Drive FileStream instead of Backup & Sync, so I'm not totally
familiar with the intricacies of the Backup & Sync service,. Google Drive
FileStream is only available to G Suite for Education or G Suite for Business,
thus it's not an option for you. That all being said, there's two places to
check things. First, is in the Backup & Sync Extras menu, under Preferences.
The second is in Safari or Chrome browser, in Drive under Settings. I believe
that there's a computers item there that may be a factor. Normally, it should
just delete from the web or Cloud version of drive at the same time as you
delete from your Mac, so something is being uncooperative. Take a look at this
YouTube help link. I believe he has the info you need in his tutorials.

You may need to listen to multiple tutorials to get the best info. Note that
you don[t need to use Chrome as he does, Safari will suffice.

I've discovered that just about everything I deleted from Google Drive on my
computer staid in my Google Drive on the web. is there a way to set it to just
delete completely anything I delete from the folder on my computer so I don't
have to go up to the web and do it?

thanks.
