I get this behaviour as well. For some time, there’s a mysterious window appearing on the screen. If you activate windows chooser menu with vo+f2 pressed twice, you will find an untitled window. If you press vo+spacebar or enter to go to it, you will find that there doesn’t appear to be anything in it. I have no idea what it is and ignore it now but I do agree the constant reference to it by vO is somewhat irritating.
