So far as I’m aware, Nemeth Code is supported under iOS, but not Mac OS. On the
Mac, you’ll get a braille representation of the text as it would be spoken.

Whether Apple’s recently announced enhancements to braille support will change
this (immediately or subsequently) is not publicly known. I would recommend
taking this up with Apple Accessibility. If they don’t receive comments on it,
it’s less likely to be given significant priority.

Subject: Math Content and VoiceOver with Safari

Hi,

Does anyone know the current story with MathML content and VoiceOver with
Safari? For example is there any way to have the braille of this show up as
Nemeth code?

Kelly

Thank you,

Kelly
