Hello. I, too, use the Books app on my iPhone XR and am very satisfied. The only really frustrating issue for me (or it was frustrating when I last encountered it about a year ago) is that it is very difficult, though possible, to use the app when the screen is locked. With Voice Dream Reader, you can lock the screen and the book keeps being read aloud. However, when I tried locking the screen while the reading of an iBook was in progress, reading stopped. I couldn’t make this work with the Books app, even though I had turned „Speak screen“ on.
