Hi Mary, I've got a Sonos Play Bar, It's a few years old now and I don't have any issues with the voiceover voice being cut off from my apple tv, This may well be due to my sound bar being connected to my tv using an optical cable and my apple tv connected to my Samsung tv with HDMI
That way everything comes through the tv first and as I've switched the tv speakers off the sonos play bar and surrounds play the related audio.
