Hi,

OK, the easiest then.

1. Backup anything important if you can't easily get it from iCloud, Google or
wherever you do Cloud things.
2. Restart you're Mac.
3. As the startup chime sounds, hold down the cmd and r keys simultaneously
for about five or six seconds.
4. Patiently wait for about 3 minutes, then press cmd-f5 to turn VO on. If VO
doesn't come on, wait another minute then try again.
5. Choose your Language if that window appears. If it does not, then you
should be at the MacOS Utilities screen.
6. Click on Disk Utility then Click on Disk Utility in the table, then click
on Continue.
7. Once Disk Utility opens, select Macintosh HD from the table of connected
drives.
8. Stop interacting with that table, then interact with the ToolBar and click
on Erase.
9. Let it do its thing. When it's done, click on the Done button.
10. Quit Disk Utility by pressing cmd-q.
11. In the MacOS Utility, select Re-Install MacOS from within the table of
choices, then click Continue.
12. Follow the prompts through some Continues and Agrees.
13. Select Macintosh HD if it is not already selected.
14. Click Install.

For the most part, that's it. Let it do it's thing. If it restarts itself,
wait a few minutes, then press cmd-f5 to turn VO back on. If VO doesn't start
talking, wait a while longer and try again. Once it's all done, you should
hear a person say something about "MacOS 10 containing a built in screen reader
called VoiceOver". You can then turn VO on and enter the necessary info to
setup your Mac.

HTH.

Later...
