Hello Harry,

I am, by no means, an authority on this but, as I understand it, you can use
any Apple alias, already associated with your Apple ID as your primary Apple
ID.

For more help on this, search the web or give Apple tech support a ring.

Good Luck,

Mark

Subject: Re: How To Change Your Apple ID from a Third-Party Email Address to a
@Mac, @Me, or @iCloud Email Address

I already have an iCloud email address: will I have to use that one or can I
create a different one to use as my Apple ID?
And I read somewhere that you cannot use an iCloud alias for this - is that so?
Thanks
Harry
