I’ve just tried this in Catalina appstore. I chose the “discover” in the side bar and then command+f to find an app or type in a sttring of words. Then to the left of your name, you should find results. If you find the name of an app you want, vo+spacebar on it. Then vo+arrow keys, in my case left arrow to find the price of the app. Then, vo+spacebar on the price of the app which will give you option to buy or cancel.
