Dave, If you want to set numbers as your default, Do you then need ms office 365 on your machine?
As an officer user I have both but I do know that pages numbers and keynote are just about as good now and a lot of people are using them as default apps on computers and mobile devices Including a couple of former work colleagues. And as the pages numbers etc apps come free these days and office 365 costs it could save you some cash in the long run. There is also a really good manual on how to use pages written by one of the members of this list that would be worth while purchasing if you wanted a manual. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] <[email protected]> On Behalf Of Dave Carlson Sent: Friday, 30 August 2019 12:15 AM To: 'Tim Kilburn' via MacVisionaries <[email protected]> Subject: Re: Hearing Row and Column Titles When Using Numbers Hello Phil, Thanks. I’ll look into that on my next journey into Numbers. Along similar lines, another question. I had installed the Office 365 suite on my Mac to give it a trial run, but was not happy with the early performance. But now the default app for a spreadsheet is Excel, and I’d like to set Numbers as the default app. Is this a difficult thing to accomplish on the Mac?
