Hello all, I just received my compact external DVD R/W drive and have connected it to my MacBook Pro via the USB C connector. Sad to say that the result was underwhelming. Even after I inserted an audio CD, there was no response. I would have at least expected my Mac to start playing the music on the CD. What fundamental element am I missing here? I purchased this little drive so that I could install some Mac software that came on optical media. Any tips for me on what to do next?
