Hi, Try this. Open Mail Prefs, select the Accounts tab, select the account with the items you wish sorted alphabetically, uncheck the "Enable this account" checkbox, close Mail Prefs, now re-open Mail Prefs and re-enable the account and close Mail Prefs. They should now be sorted alphabetically. This used to work although I haven't tried it in a while.
