Hi Honestly I don't know much more than it is out there,
Someone has released a product that is like a strap that goes behind your head between the arm of each of the pods so that if one falls out it is able to be found, Infact I just did a search in google for "Safety strap for apple earpods and there is a number of different options out there and really cheap as well.
