Hi all, I have an iPhone 7 with the very latest iOS running, and use Visual Voicemail any time I get a message. It used to be that you could tap on a Speaker button, and the message would play through the main phone speaker, rather than what you hold up to your ear. It used to be very tricky to accomplish this, but now it seems like with iOS 13 I can’t get output through the phone speaker at all. I do find a button that says “playback destination”, and when I tap it it sounds like the direction of the sound is changing, but still when I play a message it only comes through the little speaker on top of the phone. I hope this is making sense. Has anyone else experienced this, and if so is there a workaround? I’m wondering if this is related to the other issue that’s been discussed at great length about what happens after phone calls.
