Hi,

Yes, using an iPad with a keyboard would be much easier than swiping gestures.
Generally, I find the Mac version much easier to navigate, which, like you,
probably is just due to how often I use it as opposed to how little I use it on
iOS/iPadOS. My opinion is that the trick to navigating through Numbers sheets
on the iOS/iPadOS devices is the rotor. Switching to vertical navigation,
container navigation helps speed things up. There are folks that are much
better than I at using iPads for just about anything though. Kliph is on this
list as well as the owner of another list and he is one of the individuals that
has moved primarily to using an iPad over Desktop computers.

Later...

I make extensive use of the numbers app on OS X, and I find it extremely easy
to work with. Maybe that’s just because I’ve been using it for so long. But I
have tried it on the iPhone and it was too clunky for me. I’m wondering about
numbers on an iPad though, with the bigger screen at all. Is it the identical
app for iOS on both the phone and the iPad? Is it relatively easy to work with
multisheet spreadsheets on the iPad? I suppose I could answer this question for
myself by buying an iPad, testing out the Numbers app, and then returning it if
I’m not happy all within the 14 day trial period. But, I’d much rather get some
information before I try all that. Sent from my IPhone
