Hi Mark, To download an mp3 or pdf file that is loaded into Safari, press Command-L and then press Option-Return. The first command highlights and selects the link address; the second command is the Safari keyboard shortcut for forcing a download of the file from the highlighted link. (These instructions do not depend on using VoiceOver).
