Hi Mark, I'm not having this problem either as far as I can tell. Although, I'll let you know that this feature is in Settings, Accessibility, VoiceOver, Audio, Sounds & Haptics. You can set haptic intensity, turn it off totally for VO actions, and/or individually turn it on/off for various gestures. I've turned it off for regular swipe gestures and a few others, but left it on for hitting the right/left walls and a few other items.
